BIO

Dr. Daniela Bianco-Batlles was born in Madrid, Spain.  She then went on to attend Medical School at the Luis Razetti School of Medicine in Caracas, Venezuela where she graduated in the top 10% of her class.  She completed her Pediatrics Residency  at the Dept of Pediatrics Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.  She then went on to her Neonatology Fellowship at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in Columbia University in New York.  She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and also in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine.  She is currently the Director of Resident Education at Miami Children’s NICU.  She is a well published co-author in the field of Neonatology.  Her topics include Coronary vascular dysfunction in premenopausal women with diabetes mellitus and Mortality in infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia : a study of the United States National Database.  Daniela enjoys running marathons both locally and around the world.  She is both wife and mother and spends most her time along with her husband caring for their two beautiful children.
